Anna's Challah: makes 2 loaves
- mix in bowl, let foam:
- 3/4 tsp yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 3/4 cup warm water
- add to bowl
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 8 ish cups flour
- knead
- let rise
- braid
- egg wash
- let rise
- egg wash again
- bake at 375˚F for 30-40 minutes

Chocolate Beet Cake: so good so moist
- Ingredients for cake:
- 1 can pickled beets (~15oz)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- a bit of vanilla
- 3 eggs>
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened/baking cocoa
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Cake Instructions:
- blend beets including juice into smithereens
- whisk oil, sugar, vanilla, and eggs together
- add blended beets and mix
- add flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda and mix
- oil bundt tin
- pour batter into bundt tin
- bake at 375˚F for 50 minutes
- Ingredients for Ganache:
- 1/2 cup cream
- 4oz chocolate (dark or unsweetened)
- Ganache Instructions
- melt cream and chocolate over very low heat until smooth
